    This iron gets very hot, but it is good, though, because it has decent heat to do the job effectively. It heats up quickly, which is definitely a positive side. In the beginning I was worried that the heat could damage my hair, but that didn't happen.
    Both my mom and my sister have it and both lasted just about as long as mine. I have no doubt in my mind about buying another one when time comes.
